A meeting between the DZA and representatives of DJK Sokol Ralbitz/Horka showed that sport, voluntary work, and science can work hand in hand for the region.

Just in time for the end of the Science Year 2023 "Our Universe", the Federal Cabinet has decided that Germany will join the Square Kilometer Array Observatory [1].

On November 7, 2023, Christian Stegmann and Stefan Ohm visited the German-Sorbian school complex in Schleife and gave 150 pupils from the 5th to the 10th grade an insight into the universe.

Today we start: We want to drill 250 meters deep into the granite stock. There, we will use seismometers to check how quiet it is in the granite. We expect to find the ideal place for our underground laboratory here.
